Richmond Valley Homes

Richmond Valley houses are some of the most lucrative properties in Staten Island. Luxury homes in Richmond Valley are highly sought after, and much of the area is newly constructed. Although there are many luxury estates in Richmond Valley, there are also more affordable, modestly priced homes in this area of the South Shore.

Much of the South Shore was undeveloped prior to the 1960s, but the area quickly developed and the population grew after the construction of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. In the 1980s, properties in Richmond Valley saw a great deal of new construction which was mostly regulated to luxury homes. This area is known for being the site of the terminus of the Outerbridge Crossing, connecting Staten Island to Perth Amboy and the mainland of New Jersey.
