Sunset Hill in the Fall

Many homeowners in the Sunset Hill area took the time to upgrade their properties. Installation of new gardens and plantings and modernization of homes kept landscapers and contractors busy throughout the season and the appearance of the area continues to get better and better as a prime residential area.

That slight chill in the air when the neighborhood's many dog owners take their pets out for their morning stroll is the signal that Summer is close to being over.

The block parties in the area are in the past, Labor Day has come and gone, and the smells of steaks and chicken on the barbecue wafting through the air are gone. The gardens are showing their seasonal changes as well. The bright colors of impatiens and petunias are giving way to the Fall colors of mums and asters. When we look at the trees the leaves are starting to show hints of the autumn hues to come.

The sure sign that we are well into the next season is the appearance of the yellow school buses carrying their precious cargo to the local schools and back. The sounds of children going to and from school and their exuberant sounds of laughter can be heard when you are close to the local schools. The Fall season is fast approaching.
