Hubert H. Humphrey

Public School 57, also known as the Hubert H. Humphrey School, was opened around 1975. This school stands at 140 Palma Drive in the neighborhood of Park Hill. Hubert H. Humphrey was the vice president of the United States during President Lyndon B. Johnson’s term.

This school has classes for children in Pre-Kindergarten through the fifth grade. They also offer mixed special education classes. They have programs for the students in English as a Second Language, Saturday Excell, Lego Robotics, and the Eibs Pond Conservation – being that the pond sits next to the school. Some extracurricular activities they offer are band, chorus, and performing arts.
