The Harbor View School

Public School 59 is a newer school that opened in September 2013. This school is opened up in the old St. Peter’s Elementary School and Girls High School at 300 Richmond Terrace, in the neighborhood of St. George. This school was named The Harborview School, since the school looks out at the New York Harbor.

The school will have Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes. It will then continue to add a grade, up to the fifth grade, each year following. Public School 59 will also be an “Open Choice” school for anyone who would like to attend there.
