  • Clean your refrigerator: empty it out, throw away the old and expired foods, scrub the shelves and drawers. Avoid cleaning your fridge with harmful chemicals by using this mixture: 1 ½ cups water, 1 cup white vinegar, 20 drops lemon essential oil, 10…

Real Estate development in Staten Island seems to be plagued by political scandals, affecting the island's chance to get a movie studio!

New York Comptroller Tom DiNapoli stopped the $7 million dollar sale of the former prison, which is state-owned land, to the developer of Broadway Stages. Broadway Stages had plans to turn the property into a movie studio.

Empire Outlets Mall will consist of 100 outlet stores, include a 190-room hotel, and a parking garage on the land that was formerly just a parking lot adjacent to the St. George Ferry Terminal. The under-construction mall recently received $20 million in taxpayer money from the state of New York.

The $20 million grant just happened to come a few weeks after one of the three partners, Joseph Ferrara in BFC, donated $3,500 to Governor Cuomo's 2018 re-election campaign in a two check payment on January 4th.

This is just the latest donation to…
