A home sale can happen faster when it is clean and well put together. This does not include maintenance and renovations only; the interior design should also be on point. An empty house looks dull in photos, and buyers tend to base their judgment on the home for how it looks on the inside, even though the belongings are not a part of the sale. Make your house stands out more with basic fillers to add to your empty corner spaces. Whether you are selling your home, or just looking for interior tips, corners often go ignored... until now!
- Furniture: Try filling the space with furniture. If you need big fillers, try a curved or cornered sofa/sectional. An eating area is also another big filler. A round table will really define the empty area. If you are only looking for little pieces, a corner table is a good option. You can even try angling the television stand into that space. Our personal favorite is the reading area. Create this cozy spot by just adding a tall lamp and a comfy chair.
- Pieces: If the corner space is very small, try just adding a plant. Don't have a green thumb? Try a DIY ladder stand. Get an old, tall ladder, then clean and paint it a color of your choice. You can use the ladder to hang throw blankets you use while relaxing and watching TV.
- Storage area: Building shelves to fit within the area is great filler and a good way to neatly display your nick-nacks, books, DVDs, etc. If you have an empty corner space in your bathroom, you can build a cabinet with drawers.
