Family Camping @ Blue Heron Park Reserve: Thed event takes place on June 25th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. You must enter a lottery to be invited to this event with your family.

Discover Day @ Fresh Kills Park: Discover the trails and hills of the landfill-to-park project. Enjoy the amazing view of the Manhattan skyline at the top of the hilly hike or join the kayak program in the main creek waterways. To gain entrance, meet at 300 Wild Avenue to be shuffled to the park! This event is on June 26th and runs from 11am to 4pm.
- Nature Exploration Hike @ Schmul Park (Wild Avenue and Pearson Street): This event is a hike guided by Urban Park Rangers as they introduce you to the hidden gems within New York City Parks! It will be held on July 9th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
