Compared to a painted wall or wallpaper, backsplashes are easy to clean.

Here are some tips we have while searching for your own backsplash:

  • Perk up the spirit of the people who use your kitchen everyday, including yourself, by adding color! Just remember that it should still match your countertops.
  • If your kitchen has a modern or industrial look, consider installing a stainless steel backsplash. The stainless steel backsplash is even easy to clean! Just use hot water, cleansing soap, and a sponge. Just keep in mind that stainless steel tiles can be more costly than ceramic or marble tiles.
  • If the price of tiled backsplashes is what is stopping you, look into bead board paneling instead. This look will enhance your kitchen just as well as being a great addition!
  • Do not jump into the first decision and design you find! Make sure you weigh all your options, ponder in your choices, and think long term for you kitchen.
